Cagatay Odabas, born in 1980, includes actors and actresses of legendary movies in his art. He uses the pointillism (or 'dotted art') technique in his paintings, combining thousands of points to illustrate iconic moments and scenes in movies.

He defines his art as:
"My paintings are just like the combination of thousands of Lego bricks. We are all extremely excited when we combine Lego bricks, although we anticipate what we will see in the end. I create my art by carrying this feeling and excitement. I also think that an artist should have hobbies and passions besides his art because what feeds our art is what we experience each and every day. Movies have been a big part of my life since childhood and have always been my biggest passion; my art is born from this passion. Moreover, I am very self-disciplined and punctual; my art also represents the related aspects of my personality. Hence, my highly admired work discipline is a result of my personality. I illustrate each movie character only once and never use the same character again in my other paintings; this is one of my special rules."

Cagatay Odabas attended the Fine Arts Faculty of Marmara University between 1998 and 2002. His art collections are exhibited by well-known art collectors and companies in Turkey and abroad. The personal art studio of Cagatay Odabas is in Moda, Kadikoy, Istanbul.
